How crazy is this?

I can go to the blogger dashboard and create a post but I can't view the blog. How freakin' silly is that?

Anyways, here I am, both bosses out for the day and I'm not able to access anything. I need to work on my own stuff here people. lol! I have to get the 2 Year Plan in motion! I need to get out of this joint while I have a tiny bit of sanity left. ;)

So is anyone still blogging here or what? We're a bunch of slackers aren't we? Or we have really boring lives.

Woot woot for weight loss, Jenna! That's excellent news! As for the rest, ugh...An account with no signatures? Sounds lovely! Would be a wonderful world if everyone who were actually to blame got, well, this is going to sound crazy...blamed! You'd think $75K would be grounds for dismissal & not point the finger at someone else. Stupid.

Well, the snow continues to fall here...I am so tired of it! I want my deck back for the boys to play on, & the boat so Nathaniel can get out of my hair sometimes...It's just the height of cabin fever over here & I'm ready to shoot someone by the time Monday rolls around. Never thought I'd say TGIM, that's for damn sure!

So things are going good otherwise...Work is fine, love it, & my brothers are doing good at home about pitching in with chores & whatnot, so I can relax & enjoy their company. They're really cool people...I'm glad I got to know them; I haven't really had a chance since I moved out of my parents'.

The boys are doing well...The Bee is even eating real food! All by himself! I've been patiently waiting til this time, when I could put out a little platter of snacks & be done with it, instead of this constant bottle-giving & hovering I had to do before he would chew. A cookie used to make me a paranoid mess. Thank God he decided to start using those chompers! Go Bee!

And Spence is awesome, love him to death. He's been so helpful with the baby, and while there's been a tantrum or two over a beloved toy, for the most part they're getting along wonderfully. My biggest hurdle for the moment is just getting Spence to calm down when he's playing with Julian...He tends to get really excited & ALL UP IN HIS FACE which drives me (& the baby) crazy. But they wrestle & bang pot lids together & don't splash each other in the tub, so...Thank God for small favors.

Spence's teacher is talking about doing a play soon, maybe in the spring. Wouldn't that be awesome, a little spring program to go to? She said Spencer gave her the idea by spouting off Toy Story lines, LOL. My little dramatic actor. You can tell he's classically trained when he says, There's a snake in my boot! Broadway, look out.

Nathaniel's fine, over being sick THANK GOD & Alden's, well, Alden. Report cards are due out soon, buddy, say your prayers!

No snow for us...

Just a cold rain tomorrow. They were were saying this was our first big chance for a little bit of snow but it's obviously not moving in the right direction. :(

My vent: Just the same old BS, BB f-ing us over to save her precious computer/IT dept. We get ACH files (automatic deposits/drafts/etc) through out the day and on Thursday, when the girl in the computer dept was loading the last file, she didn't hit enter. So $75,000+ in direct deposits didn't go in Friday morning like it should. Well BB said that my Fed Reserve statement should've been out on Thursday because the effective date on the file was the 18th and either me or Bobbie should've questioned it, blah, blah. Well I didn't balance the wk of the 18th until the 19th, yesterday because you are basically balancing a day behind. I mean any moron knows you can't balance the work of the 18th on the 18th while the business day is still in process. But she basically blamed us when the dumb wh*re downstairs is the one who didn't hit enter. LB never could get her to understand about the wk of & the effective dates. So it's just more of the same GD crap from her. She was horrible yesterday. She bit everyone's head off. That's most of the reason we were all in such a bad mood. She sets the tone for the day. Bobbie & I were sooooo pissed off when we left yesterday. I told her "We all know she's just covering for the Golden Children, we get that. But in doing that, she's implying that 2 of the people that have been here 13 & 18 years do not know how to balance a f-ing statement!"

I'm not sure what's going to happen before someone says something to her. She's been like this with me & LB for months but now she's treating other people like sh*t too. Even other depts & some of our branches are starting to comment that she's been hateful to them. oh and yesterday she told me to ok an account that one of our CSRs opened with NO signatures because she didn't feel like arguing with her. OMG! when the state and Fed examiners question that BS, you better believe that I put her initials on it. I mean how the h-ll are we supposed to ID this person, if we can't verify the signature. kwim?
But she's Sr. Mgmt, what are ya gonna do? kwim? I think I'm going to get one of those countdown clocks and set it for 2 years and count the days till I can tell them to shove that job up their arse! If I don't have my photography biz up & running, I'll go work part time at the school or a store just so I can get the h-ll out of there!
I seriously know how it feels for a trapped animal to gnaw it's own leg off to get out of a steel trap. LOL!

On a brighter note, I weighed this morning and I'm down 3.5 more lbs this week for a total of 13 since the 2nd week of Dec!!! :) Woot Woot & that's even with having the b-day potluck yesterday. :P

Christmas card ehh Sarah well keep on waiting. LOL I just did not get them done this year. I bought the cards, but just got no farther than that. I do not know what was wrong with me I only got married and went on a vacation and somewhere I lost liek 1 month of time ughhhhhh.

Anyways I just got home from work. Gotta love working on Sat. I started my 2 week work week today. I had a hard time doing it before I was preggo and not sure how I will survive. At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I will have a weekend off in what 2 weeks from now LOL. We are supposed to get another 5 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. I am hoping I can get Kennedy out in the snow to play tomorrow.

Well no new weird cravings from me. In fact nothing is sounding good to eat these days. Mainly because m/s has kicked in full force. I am hoping it will be like with Kennedy and disappear after 8 weeks. Barb frosting ehhh??? LOL That is our little secret...

So, Courtney, I can't wait til I get my Christmas card, Lol! & Cravings, no, can't say I ever craved anything specific, besides of course, FOOD. Omg could I ever eat when I was preggo. The only trouble is having to work it off afterwards, of course. Ugh.

My New Year's resolution is to post on here more often, whaddya think? Seriously.

YAY on meeting up, yes Cera and I are the only ones who have yet to meet anywho, but we do have a meeting point halfway between us if we can muster up the energy for a 4 hour drive. lol, Maybe after tax season. I fear though that Kelly will beat me to it and I will be the only lonely up here in the frozen tundra of the northeast to never meet a fellow lips. Oh woe is me.

Cravings Courtney, oh I have a doozy for you, yes I had cravings, listen to this and repeat to NO ONE! Betty crocker rich and creamy chocolate frosting. Seriously. In my defense, I only ate a quarter of the can at a time. Seriously. And I wondered why Eric never stopped moving in-utero.

Anywho see "In the Womb" last night. Didn't see it all, because DH was on, but WOW, how cool to see the babies inside, growing, in all the stages. Very freaky.

An Extended Weekend!!!

Can you say WooHoo?? One of the Drs called me a couple hours ago and they decided to close the clinic tomorrow due to all the ice!!! It really does not look that bad out yet, but we are supposed to get another 2-4" of sleet/ice/snow this afternoon and tonight, so I am off tomorrow!!! I feel like a young school kid LOL

Wow ok so maybe it is not too early for cravings then? I thought for sure with Kennedy they did not happen until teh 2nd trimester. I am trying to be good Kelly, but it is so hard when you want something so bad especially when you have something to blame it on right?

Jenna that sounds awesome. A built in photography studio! Men I am sure he did not even offer to tell you she wanted you to do pics WTF Todd??? I bet the girls had a blast on the ATV any pics???

Kelly so glad you and Sara got to meet up. She is a hoot isn't she? I want to meet up with the rest of you, but it may be a little longer than I had anticipated now since I am not going to be up for a long drive anytime real soon. Maybe that can be our next vacation you think Jon would go for it???

Ok I really must do something today besides sleep. I have a load off laundry in and I need to dust. Oh and LB is bringing by the schedules from work here in a little bit, so I can call all the patients. Talk about hours worth of work. We are talking about patients for 8 Drs. GULP! WTF what I thinking when I agreed to do it?? I was thinking I need a new arsehole today anyways. Wonder how many will yell at me for closing the office tommorrow?

Another long weekend...

I'm really enjoying these long weekends. ;)

That's such good news about finding the kiddos, Kelly.

Lets see, cravings, the only thing I really craved was during the first trimester, I craved Mexican food. I'd go through a tub of salsa every 2 days. Had to have Taco Bell or real Mexican food every other day or two (usually in between salsa tubs) lol.

We've had a good weekend so far. Yesterday Kylie and I went to my aunt's house for a couple of hours. We hadn't been home 30 min and my phone rang. It was Todd's cell #. I answered and it was his boss's 2 yr old daughter "You get up hewe and wide the Rhino (ATV)" LOL! So Kylie and I ate a quick sandwich and went up there. While Todd & his dad helped deliver a calf, me, Kylie, Bailey, and Karley rode the ATV. We took her back to the house around 4:30.
I'd never been to their house before or even met his boss's wife. We've talked via email before but never in person. She had just fed the baby so we were just going to stay a few minutes to see him. We hit it off and ended up staying for over 2 hours talking. LOL! His boss came home and got the girls up on the trampoline he bought their daughter for Xmas. I don't know who had more fun, him or the girls. LOL! Kylie was so tired that she said at 7:50 "I tiwed, I weady to go to bed momma"
And OMG their house, they bought it a couple years ago and have been remodeling it. My photographer's eye was going crazy. I saw all kinds of furniture and spots that would be perfect for pics. Todd was like "Lori has asked me 2-3 times for you to come up and do the kid's pictures but I didn't know if you'd want too" WTF??? Men!!! I said "Of course I would. For one it'd be great practice and two she'd be great word of mouth!" Idiot!!!

Nothing much happening around here today. T & K are out riding the 4 wheeler and I"m doing some laundry and attempting to straighten up the house. I have a coworker bringing her daughter over for maternity pics tomorrow so I need to de-clutter/de-toy the area they'll see. :P

I am sooooo thankful they found the boy that was Amber Alerted near Sara plus another boy who'd been abducted in 2002. (Can you imagine your son being missing for 4 years????) And they found them ALIVE! And tonight? They found another little girl from up here who had been abducted by her father. Bless the justice system....

Cravings

Well Courtney, I am certainly not one with a normal pregnancy but I can reply to a bit of that. lol During my pregnancy I lost 30 pounds total (obviously not the norm). My doc was never worried because I did eat what I needed to eat. He also warned me about craving of which I really only had one. And it only lasted less than a week so it is hard to even qualify it as a craving.

Anyway, he said as long as I was eating the things I "should" be eating it was no harm at all to indulge a little in the cravings. But don't let it get the best of you! In other words, if you are still craving this chip dip type stuff after this weekend I would take a break...heehee. A little goes a long way!

I take it you are getting over the tired stage now? Are you going to find out the sex before hand? The rest of us are dying to know but we can definitely wait for the results!

As for this ice storm you can keep it! I got to meet up with Sara today in Chicago (woohoo!!!) and had a wonderful time because the storms abated and we got to spend some fun times driving around the city. Only a few snow flakes (and I mean a few, lol) where whitin my vision. (why is it no one else saw them?) So you need to keep that ice down your way so dear Sara can find her way home easily tomorrow!

BTW girls, Sara now leads in meeting ups. She has met 3 other LIPS members. Jenna and I have met 2, Courtney has met one and poor Barb and Sarah have yet to meet any. I think we need to arrange that group meet up soon! Even if we never all get together I think we will be friends for ages. I feel as if I've known you all forever and I doubt that changes. You girls are my lifeline to the outside world after all...heehee.

Wonderful Ice Storm!

This weekend is just worthless. It started with freezing rain, sleet and a snow mixture last night and we have probably 1-2" already. There was a break this morning and it is all due to start up again anytime soon. I believe tomorrow should be the worst, but we shall see. The weather guys are never right anyways. LOL. Kennedy keeps asking to go play in the snow and I can not get her to understand it is not good stuff to play in. I told her honey it is ice and she said lets go skating too bad we do not have skates or it would be perfect.

I got up and went to work today. The roads are not that bad completely covered, but driveable. We only saw probably 10 kids today since no one wanted to come in with the weather like it was. That was fine with me. Luckily with the weather the Dr who is on-call this weekend said she is not working tomorrow WOOT WOOT. I get to hang out around home.

I stopped by the grocery store today to pick up some Sprite. It seems like if I go to long between meals I get the nausea not morning sickness just a dull it is time to eat feeling. I have to have a Sprite to settle my stomach down and then I can eat. I think I am also getting cravings. Another reason I stopped by the store is I really want some cheese dip. You know when you melt velveeta, fiesta cheese sauce, rotel and chili. MMMMM I am planning on making some to eat this evening and tomorrow. I may just eat it all myself by Monday. I think it is a chip & dip thing. I also wanted some french onion dip and Ruffles. OMG this will not be good if I am craving fattening foods. With Kennedy all I craved was orange juice. I went through 5 frozen cans a week. I could even sit and eat the concentrate very weird....

So did you girls have any cravings with your pregnancies?????

Sunday, Sunday!

Morning all! After it being nice yesterday, it's dreary and rainy today. So we're stuck inside. And that means I have The Wonder Pets theme song stuck in my head all flippin' day! lol!

Nothing new around here. I tried to get out yesterday and take some pics but everything is brown and dead, nothing made for a decent pic. I did let the dog and get a couple snaps of her. I think I'm going to get this one printed and put it on my desk. I have the one of the cat in the leopard print chair on my desk and everyone is crazy about it. We are all a bunch of animal lovers there. We get more excited when someone brings a dog or cat in than when they bring a kid. LOL!

I know how it felt after my hysterectomy to even think about putting on real pants so I feel your pain. Fingers crossed for you girly!

As for the weight loss, well...I suck at that too as you well know. Amazing that losing weight was how we originally met, isn't it? We have both done so well on that. NOT! lol

Anyway, here's to a new and better year for us all!

Happy 2007!!!

Well, my goals for this year is for everyone in our house to stay healthy enough to be able to take that much needed trip to the beach in Sept. We've had a rough couple of years, health wise so hopefully we can catch a break this year.
And I want to get some of this weight off me. I've let my health issues be an excuse for slacking and gaining weight all year. I'm almost up to what I weighed when I gave birth to Kylie. EEKKK!
So as soon as I get the all clear from the surgeon in a couple of weeks, I'm hitting the gym on my lunch break full force. I'm thinking about switching my lunch hour to 11:00 instead of 1:00. One of the girls that goes to lunch at 11 is really dedicated about going to the gym. My current lunch buddies are a bunch of slackers too so we definitely do NOT offer each other any moral support. LOL!

Nothing much going on around here today. Dreading going back to work tomorrow for two reasons, one is that I've been off for 11 straight days and the other is that I'm dreading wearing real pants again and having them squeezing my stomach where my incisions are. LOL!
