We're finally complete...
Yay! Cera decided to join us! ;)
Know what you mean about being a sappy mom Courtney. I never wanted kids until I found out I may never have any on my own. Defintiely got me to change my way of thinking. When we got up for our 3am potty break, Kylie never opened her eyes when I put her back to bed but when I kissed her on the cheek she said “g’night momma, wu-joo” Talk about tugging at your heart strings.
Kelly, fireman waffles sound like funnel cake to me.
Hmmm, growing up in small towns, eh? I think I qualify for that since I got married at the local feed & seed store. Although ours isn’t so small now, it was when I was growing up:
The main ‘strip’ that now sees 2 million tourists per year used to be a 2 lane gravel road.
We used to get excited when g-ma & g-pa would take us to see great g-ma because we got to pass the gas station and we’d load up on beef jerky and ice cream sandwiches to take with us. That was a real treat for us.
G-pa used to pick me & my cousin up from school in his old Ford Rambler that was older than dirt back then.
When it snowed, school would close for a week or two (we are in the south remember). That was the best! Damn Global Warming, we hardly ever get any snow now.
On our summer break from school, we had to help the grandparent’s in the garden or we wouldn’t have food to eat. You only went to the grocery store for meat and other staples.
I'm sure I could think of more but I'm at work and have to at least LOOK like I'm working. :P
