Sappy Mommies Unite!
That was pretty sappy there Courtney, I am about to throw up. LOL Just kidding, I totally understand. Nobody can make me so angry and frustrated one minute and be totally, "how cute is this kid" the next. Drives me insane. As tiring and frustrating and infuriating as they can be, they are totally worth it when they are behaving and want to cuddle and snuggle and say sweet things like "I wuv you." Just so you realize how cute they can be, my husband, mine, you all know him quite well, actually made this comment this morning, while holding Eric, feeding him actually, while I ironed. "He's so cute, you sure you don't want to have another one, we make cute kids!" OMG shut up now. No f#*king way. I cannot deal with pregnancy, hate it, and birth, meaning another operation, and losing weight again, and the whole first 6 months of pure neediness 24/7. Sorry Courtney, but you had a bad first so your second will sleep through the night from day 1. I had a great first and a horrible second who STILL won't sleep through the night at 9 months! Not in the mood to do this again.
Today marks my first day babysitting. I will be meeting the neighbors kids as they get off the bus on this first day of school and they will come over here till their dad gets home. It's not a bad gig really, only about an hour and a half as he comes home early and it's only 3 days a week since Matthew starts pre-school next week, that's another OMG, and so those days I won't be home in time to meet them. So today should be productive, I'll make some money from that, and since Eric decided 5:30am was the time to be done with the whole nonsense of sleeping this morning, I already ironed, vacuumed, cleaned (superficially) the kitchen and am ready to work on business and it's only 7:45am. I am already yawning as well. Oh well. The upside is I am going out tonight!!! This does not happen often people so I get excited. It's not exactly anything crazy, just dinner at Friday's with a friend and former co-worker to gossip about the office, I miss the gossip! LOL And I am not meeting her till 7pm so I won't get much of a break, by the time I leave it will be almost bedtime for the boys, which made hubby darling happy to hear. But it's OUT and OUT is good. The tomorrow mother-in-law is arriving. No no, this is not a bad thing, she's cool, and it means I get some help and a break or two. Usually I get to run out to a store alone, and or we go out to dinner alone. It's a good thing.
