There Are Benefits To Being A Mommy!!

Yeah ok you all know me well enough and know I am not usually the type to be sappy, but there are times you realize just how much you are loved and appreciated by these little munchkins. BTW it could be the 3rd glass of wine tonight doing it LOL

As you all know my daughter has been sick and while I got up with her at 5:00 a.m. because her coughing fit woke her up we sat there mommy and little girl watching Dora and cuddling. She eventually looked up at me with these droopy eyes and little grin and said "mommy I wuv you" just melts my heart each time and makes the early morning awakenings or middle of the night awakenings totally worth it.

Honestly I never imagined myself as a mom NEVER! In my cabinet in the bathroom is the positive pregnancy test from 2002 I still pull it out in shock and my baby is 3. If my little surprise had not happened I doubt I ever would have had a child it was just not my lifestyle back then. Funny how now I am planning #2. I firmly believe god has his individual plan for each and everyone one of us even if it is not what we have planned.

There is NOTHING more gratifying than seeing this little life that looks up to you and expects so much from you...
