It's officially spring!
So get out the plant catalogs and start planning those yard/garden improvement projects. I have several catalogs with pages dog-eared, just waiting on DH to finish the deck out back so I can start some planting around it. I have an idea in my head what I want to do. With the exception of one area, I know what type of plants to put there. Just need to do a bit of research on that.
I've been dying to get out and work in my yard. If I could stand the hot weather in the summer, I could definitely run my own nursery/garden center. I love being outdoors and can't wait to start planting and mulching before it gets too hot. We usually don't have much of a spring, the weather here goes from mild to down right hot & sticky in a matter of weeks.
My plan is to finish the planting projects before it gets hot so I can sit back & relax on that new deck during those warm summer evenings. I can almost hear the crickets and smell the fresh cut grass now...
