Jenna, while I find that to be an excellent idea with admirable intentions, I do believe having a cleaning lady puts you entirely out of my league. Nathaniel has mentioned getting one, a time or two over the years, but of course being the emotional baggage-carrying wreck of a hormonal woman I am, I always take this suggestion as a personal attack on my own cleanliness standards and draw the battle line. Funny, he hasn't mentioned it in a while.

Spring cleaning, Oh. My. God. I both love it and hate it. Hate the huge, exaggerated project I always make it to be, but love the feeling when it's all said and done. It's my own fault, I get a whiff of fresh warm spring air and get a little nuts. I make Nathaniel move the refrigerator and stove away from the walls & scrub, let's see, what else...

-shampoo carpets
-wash curtains
-pressure-wash outside toys/furniture/deck/etc. (Nathaniel's job)
-clean out cupboards, wipe down, put everything away organized
-go through closets, pitch/donate/etc.
-clean out my car
-yardwork

There's more. I get totally homicidal on some germs & dust the first couple weeks of spring. It's a compulsion. I can't help it. You asked, lqtm.

How about everyone else?

Well, my poor little sickly boys & I limped through this week and somehow miraculously made it to the weekend. I am astonished. Let's hear it for F'ing Fantastic Friday, Finally!
